耀変志埜 YOHEN SHINO
美濃山土をベースにした器胎に窯変をかけることで、鮮やかな緋色と渋みのある灰色が拮抗しています。作家はこれまでに、桃山陶に触発されながらも、現代を生きる作家としての美意識を取り入れた作風を展開してきました。本シリーズにも、焼きの手法を独自に切り拓いていこうとする豊かな創意が表れています。
The body, which used Mino wild clay, has been modified to match the Hi-iro (an orange tinged reddish comes from flame during the firing) with the subdued gray color. Matsuzaki has been inspired by Momoyama ware, but has developed a style that incorporates the aesthetic sense of a contemporary artist. This series also shows the rich creativity of him who is trying to open up a unique way of firing.
